At the Adriatic Golf Club Cervia you can live your passion for golf all year long, thanks to the mild climate of the Adriatic Riviera. The golf center is considered to be one of the best equipped golf centers in Italy.

 

The 27 holes course winds through an area of almost 100 hectares along the old pine-forest and a fascinating seaside. Working together with an expert such as Baldovino Dassù, the course architects Marco Croze and Alvise Rossi Fioravanti have designed the first 9 holes in a typical Scottish link style, the second 9 holes follow the classic North American models and the last 9 holes have a design that makes this sport still more pleasant. At the Adriatic Golf Club Cervia: whether on the green or approaching the course or in the bunkers, the mild climate of our Riviera makes it possible to play almost all the year round. Even during the hottest month of August the sea breeze refreshes our guests.

Some miles off shore Ravenna is possible to perform one of the best scuba diving excursion you can experiment in the high Adriatic Sea. The former oil platform "Paguro" now lies under 25 metres of water, abbanded since 1965, after an uncontrolled natural gas eruction, which provoked a victim and several months of continuous firing.

 

Thanks to the creation of a natural reserve and to many diving clubs in the vicinity, that old tragedy turned into the possibility to experience a rather unusual guided dive for the sandy coast of the Adriatic Sea.
The wrack of the platform has now become an artificial reef that hosts a surprisingly wide number of marine species.
